Global Close team (GC) was newlycreated to simply and automate the core closing processes and ensure the timelyand accurate financial reporting. To enhance the global controllership, GC teamwill focus on centralization of US journal entries and overseeing the globalclose. Sr. Accountant will be the first member as well as the corner stone ofGC team in Pune office. Sr.Accountant will partner with financial analysis team and other corporateaccounting teams and drive efficiency in US month end close by automatingP&L related journal entries via automation tools such as Alteryx. Thecandidate will also facilitate the management of US close process in Cadencyand contribute to the global close coordination and year- end audit. Sr.Accountant will serve as the leader of GC team and take responsibility of teamdevelopment, timely execution of daily operation and projects, and continuousimprovement of GC function. Keyresponsibilities Prepare, post andreview monthly journal entries by US Journal Entries Policy Simplify andautomate journal entries by Alteryx or other data analytics tools Administratemonth end tasks in Cadency and assist global rollout of Cadency Close Module Collaborate withother accounting teams and internal audit team in YE audit Facilitate theadoption of new lease accounting standard Ensure complianceof GAAP standards and integrity of financial statements Participate inother ad hoc accounting projects Required Skills &experience CA /CMA with 5- 7years of experience in corporate accounting Strong analyticalmindset that has been demonstrated through leading large- scale projects Previousexperience with process automation & simplification projects SAP user, TABLEAUand /or Alteryx experience is a plus Strong in MSOffice (Excel and word advanced skillset) Strongcommunication skills Aspire to leadand self- starter Familiar with USGAAP,
