Sr. Engineer / Engineer - Configuration / Build & Release

The Sr. Engineer / Engineer - Configuration Manager / Build and Release Engineer is responsible for

Qualification:
  • BE (Computer Engineering / Information Tech) or higher
Experience:
  • Min 3+ yrs (3-7 yrs)
Technology:
  • Smart Card, Java Card
Technical Skills:
  • ClearCase, UCM / ClearQuest, C, C++, embedded systems
Other tools used:
  • Clear Case, Clear Quest, Doors
Soft Skills:
  • Self-motivated, Focused, Good Team Player, Positive Attitude, Good communication skills written and verbal, proactive
Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of Smart Card Operating system, Telecommunication (GSM) and Electronic Payment system
  • Proven knowledge to work in processes according to CMMI (Level 3)
Details Must have skills:
  • Must have Capacity for teamwork
  • Must have Ability to communicate
  • Must have Process orientation
  • Must have Quality awareness
  • Must have knowledge of DOS, Perl
  • Must have expert knowledge ClearCase UCM/ClearQuest
  • Must have 3+ yrs of Build, maintaining & writing new build scripts and Configuration Management Experience
  • Must have Good understanding of the build process.
  • Must have worked with large teams as build and deployments for Smartcard OS
  • Must have worked with C,perl or ANT scripts
  • Must have working knowledge of Branching, Labeling and Merging using clearcase
  • Must have worked on Change and Configuration on a Java environment
  • Experience with Source Control Systems, preferably clearcase
Desirable skills:
  • Knowledge of XML
  • Strong debugging, problem solving and analytical skills
