Job Description

"Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  1. Understand customers overall applications portfolio, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions using PaaS, DevOps & Advanced Application coding
  2. Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a application modernization roadmap and architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments
  3. Orchestrating key resources and infusing key application development and DevOps technologies
  4. Drive long-term platform adoption to develop cloud native projects (e.g. serverless, PCF, Openshift)
  5. Help Technology organisation to make the appropriate technical choices and infusing coding practices
  6. Maintain technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community
  7. Share insights and best practices, connect with other team to remove key blockers
  8. Create a well-informed cloud strategy and drive change management
  9. Manage and drive teams with hands on coaching
  10. Develop and manage cloud based applications and systems using AZURE/ AWS / Google platforms including hybrid implementation
  11. Migrate on premise systems to cloud based solutions
  12. Create and Work towards secure cloud policy implementation
  13. Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company
  14. Responsible for analyzing and translating business, information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions to achieve business objectives.
Experience9+ years of hands on IT experience 3+ years of hands on experience using AWS/Azure / Google services in architecting PaaS solutions. 5+ years of success in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects (where necessary, managing various stakeholder relationships to getExperience using integrated development environments (e.g. Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, XCode, Java, JS, ) targeting Android, iOS, Linux, Windows, public clouds (i.e. Azure, AWS, Google) required Experience and understanding of large-scale applications portfolio in enterprise-wide environment (including migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud) Experience and understanding of large-scale application development projects (including key coding skills and practices)Hands on experience in AWS services i.e. EC2, ECS, S3, Gracier, Lambda, SQS, SNS, RDS. API gateway, VPC, Route 53, cloud front, Cloud Watch, AWS SDK/CLI etc. OR Azure Services i.e VM, Blob, archive, Functions, Service Bus, SQL, Vnet, CDN or Google Cloud Services i.e. Compute Engine, container engine, Cloud Storage, Coldline, Functions, pub sub, vpc, domains, Cloud CDN, etcIndustry PreferredQualificationsBE (Information Technology, Computer Science) + Cloud Solution Architecture certification on AWS / AZURE / Google (Preferred) MBA is plusGeneral RequirementsOwn the Applications Development technical engagements including: architectural design sessions, specific implementation projects and/or pilots. Good knowledge on migrating on premise applications to Aws/Azure/Google Cloud IaaS Good knowledge of Aws/Azure/Google Cloud IaaS (AMI, Pricing Model, VPC, Subnets etc.) and Aws/Azure/Google Cloud Security best practices Experience in deploy, manage and C7scale applications using Cloud Formation/ AWS CLI. Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (developers, Senior Executives and IT management),"
