Position Type : Full time Type Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education) Education Desired : Bachelor of Computer Science Travel Percentage : 0%About the teamWall Street Concepts (WSC) provides tax information reporting solutions to the financial industry for REMICs, Pass Through Mortgage-Backed Securities, Long term OID bonds, Master Limited Partnerships, mutual funds, REITs, Unit Investment Trusts, and Widely Held Fixed Investment Trusts (WHFITs). Our services facilitate the production of Forms 1099 and K-1, as well as the preparation of individual tax returns. A highly stable business (~ 70M) offered as a hosted service to all financial institutions, Private Banks, Trust Companies, Broker/Dealer setup etc. An industry presence of more than 20+ years.What you will be doing

• Managing a strong team of developers and test analysts for all WSC service s backend processing application as a WD manager.
• Responsible for all end-to-end development, testing and support for all WSC backend applications.
• Closely working with GDO team and onsite coordinator as well as our WSC chief technology architect.
• Closely working with product managers and busines development team to understand the requirements and provide the estimate and solution implementation.
• Closely working with WSC business processing operations teams, CIO CMIT teams including SAs and DBAs
• Manage all the release planning and execution, working closely with release group under CIO function.
• Manage the non-production environments for related applications.
• Closely working with other managers in GDO WSC team for all the cross functional projects.
• Provide and Participate in all status reporting meetings and requests.
• Maintain all quality and process metrics for the responsible function.
• Maintain all the corporate policies including Risk and Information Security Compliance for the responsible function.
• Mentor, groom and develop the next level skills and talent within the team.
• Manage the work allocation diligently across all the services based on business priorities.
• Motivate and encourage team as a leader to keep the high engagement scores.
• Involved in problem solving and solutioning to all production issues.
• Responsible for the smooth delivery of given tax season every year between Jan to March.
• Should possess thorough impact analysis skills and Should be adaptive to learn new technologies.
• Involve in design and coding for critical functions.

What you bring Knowledge / Experience

• Overall 12+ years for experience as Project Lead or Manager.
• Minimum 6+ years of work experience with UNIX /Linux environment.
• Minimum 7 -8 years of coding experience in Perl and Python.
• Minimum 7 -8 years of experience working on relational database including: Sybase/MYSQL/MariaDB
• Strong experience and knowledge on multi-threaded applications.
• Knowledge on SPARK is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge on any version control tool (Subversion, GIT).
• Knowledge on tools like JIRA/Crucible.
• Knowledge on NoSQL DB (MongoDB)
• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented programming concepts.
• Knowledge on Unit test automation for python and Perl applications.
• Good finance domain knowledge (Capital markets).
• Should possess strong verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work in flexible working hours if needed.
• Experience with Agile development framework including SCRUM and KANBAN.

Qualifications

• Master s degree in IT/Computer or equivalent.
• Understanding of Agile/Non-agile methodology.
• Technology certifications.
