Job Description Function: Software Engineering Backend Development Experience - 6 yrsAs Sr. Product Engineer , you will own one of our product modules. You will be directly reporting to the CTO. You will be part of a team of talented engineers tasked to architect , build and maintain the product while also working very closely with the founders to drive the product vision. We expect a strong engineering background , proven leadership experience , high attention to detail & being results - oriented. Problem - solving skills and data - driven decision making will be appreciated. Additionally , you will need to mentor your team of talented engineers and inspire them to be better programmers.Responsibilities : Inspire , lead and grow with team of software engineers & developers Manage deployment cycles Collaborate closely with the CTO & Founders to understand & drive the product vision Maintain Code Quality , Implement Standards & Improve overall understanding Continuously improve software engineering practices Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends , experiment with and learn new technologies , participate in internal & external technology communities , and mentor other members of the engineering community Encourage innovation , implementation of cutting - edge technologies , inclusion , outside - of - the - box thinking , teamwork , self - organisation , and diversity Create high - performance APIs , libraries and micro - services that scale to meet / exceed the product demands Research , evaluate and adopt next generation technologies Produce high quality software following good architecture and design principles that you and your team will find easy to work with in the future Triage and troubleshoot issues Provide code reviews and guide coding standards Who are we looking for: You are passionate about architecting products & problem solving You like to take ownership Building scalable platforms excites you You like working in a team with a strong feedback culture who push each other to improve Data &; analytics excite you You have Built & designed multi - tenant SaaS platforms which are cloud native (AWS , Azure) Exposure to procedural & functional paradigms. Expertise in AWS components (EC2 , ELB , IAM , EFS , EBS , Glacier , Cloudwatch etc) Experience in Micro - services design pattern , message brokers , orchestration , Deployments & Infrastructure Management (Kubernetes , Docker)
