Job Description

In this role, you have an opportunity to lead activities to ensure the reliability of product designs by defining specific steps to grow the Design for Reliability (DfR) capabilities and competencies and ensuring the execution of robust DfR plans in Diagnostic Imaging development programs.You are responsible for reliability related efforts during product development, Manufacturing and Service phase:Product Development:

  • Generates product reliability plan
  • Creates reliability requirements and integrate them into the requirements specification documents
  • Prepares the supplier reliability requirements and ensures that they are met
  • Establishes the way of working for DFMEA, FOS, Derating, Allocation/Prediction, Tolerance analysis, stress simulation, etc. and leads these efforts when appropriate
  • Creates reliability test protocols(ALT, HALT, RVT, RGT, etc.)
  • Prepares the reliability analysis and test summary
  • Leads the review of Reliability test results
  • Leads the design actions related to reliability improvement opportunities
Manufacturing:
  • Leads burn-in/screening process by designing the burin-in/screen profile
  • Leads repeatability and reliability activities of the test/assembly stands ensuring manufacturing Reliability
  • Reviews reliability process issues and leads reliability improvement projects
Service:
  • Analyzes field data and develops intelligence in estimating current performance and future trends
  • Develops field Reliability data metrics (IRR, YRR, LTR, MTBF/MTTR, Warranty cost)
  • Communicates reliability metrics through the organization to drive awareness and alignment
You are a part ofDiagnostic Imaging R&D Team located in Pune. Philips HIC, Pune is playing a key role in Philips global strategy for Diagnostic Imaging. With Philips HIC, the foundation was laid to touch billions of lives and reiterate Philips commitment towards Indian and growth healthcare markets.To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • BE/BTech/ME/Mtech with 10 Yrs+ strong experience in Reliability related field.
  • Experienced and applied reliability engineer from automotive, industrial equipment (energy, thermal systems), commercial equipment (e.g., tools), medical device industry
  • Reliability engineering fundamentals life data analysis (Weibull, etc.); system reliability modeling; reliability growth analysis; accelerated testing
  • FMEA experience Practical and hands on participation on the application of Design or Production FMEAs with design details
  • Advanced manufacturing experience design transfer of critical parameters/specifications to manufacturing (into process controls)
  • Robust design experience (e.g., parameter design, tolerance design) or similar applied design of experiment experience
  • Systems experience interfaces; mechanical; electrical; controls; software
