The team is always looking for passionate, dedicated individuals who are self-motivated in their work and careers.What you will be doing:Participate in various design discussions, Sprint Events, understanding epic workParticipate in test planning and execution activitiesContinuously improvising on tests, identify test gaps and come-up with ways to bridge those gapsInteract with various stake-holders to execute on product goalsPossess a strong desire for quality and test to break attitudeAutomation of regression test cases What skills, experience and education you need as a team member to succeed: Bachelor degree with experience in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering streams5-8 years of work experience in software testing / development / supportHands on experience on installation and configuration of various operating systems (Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, RedHat, SUSE and Windows server family)Experience with setting up test environments for client-server and distributed systems in both UNIX/LINUX (Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, RedHat, SUSE) and Windows environmentsStrong QA knowledge with experience working on enterprise software products (preferred)Networking, Virtualization, File Systems working knowledgeWeb UI Testing knowledgeBasics of Storage Technology NAS, SAN, Arrays, Filers, etc. will be added advantageFamiliarity with scripting and/or programming languages and/or tools such as: Python, Perl, Shell, etc. Experience working on automation project will be an added advantageExperience in identifying scenarios and writing test plans, test cases and execution, test bed creationExcellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skillsDetect, report, and track software defectsApply Quality Engineering principles throughout the agile product life cycle to identify defect and design flawsCollaborate with the development team to improve the quality of the deliverable and ensure the business needs are metHighly self-motivated, goal orientated, and self-directedAt Veritas, we care about the causes close to your heart and enable you to volunteer, donate, and do good.
