Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to modify, design, develop and maintain MR, Ultra Sound, Cathlabs, CT, and realization of a range of products in such a way that future products options and features can be realized with acceptable effects for the earlier products.You are responsible for identifying appropriate technologies for overall system, sub-system and component levels. You will ensure that your design is consistent with the higher level architecture and requirementsYou are responsible forResponsible for Requirements, Design, implementation, test and integration of his module/sub-system in accordance with the higher level architectural Requirements and - Design specifications, easy to maintain, extendible (components and modules) and re-usableEnsure that the proposed architecture would have the safety and reliability features built-inThe Electrical Architect ensures that his design is consistent with the higher level architecture and requirements.Responsible for ensuring that architecture meets the performance criteriaFormulates the HW-technical roadmap, relevant for his subsystem/system taking into account HW technologies (operating systems, data bases), application trendsConducts Concept & Feasibility studies. Leads the introduction of new technologiesEnsures that there is proper documentation for the developed designEnsures the mutual consistency and efficient integration of the separate components in modular design that meets the product specificationGuides the HW Development Engineers in the design and implementation aspectsEnsures that his design modules meet the product certification requirementsIs abreast of / participates in standards identification responsible for designingNetworks with colleagues within BU and beyond and maintains external contacts for benchmarking, new technologies, tooling, design methods, and reflects them to the HW-groupContributes to technology roadmaps and other strategic related activitiesDraws up personal schedule and reports on progress.Contributes to the Work Breakdown Structure/ the planning process of his/her area.Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through study of literature and technical contacts.Maintains product and company reputation by complying with country specific regulationsTo succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experienceCompleted engineering studies at university level; BE/BTech/ME/Mtech in Electronics/Electrical with 5+ years of experienceKnowledge of state-of-the-art methods & tools (CAD/simulation) used in electrical designExpert in Power Electronics and High VoltageKnowledge of Digital Electronics and Analog circuitsExpert in Electrical Hardware TestingKnowledge of Designing Cable HarnessKnowledge of a specific area of technology or product feature.Peripheral interfaces like RS232, RS485, CAN, Ethernet and USBWorked on CPLD s and FPGA designKnowledge of OOPS (Object oriented programming) concept like C++, C#; RTOS (Real time operating system); Control systems; CPU concepts stack, heap, memory mapping - will be added advantageAbility to understand and debug problems across hardware/software boundaries and should have knowledge of SW development (coding) /debugging on prototype hardware and changing requirements added advantageExpertise in design techniques, application domain and engineeringAbility to understand and debug problems across hardware boundariesExposure to International Medical Quality and Regulatory Standards e.g. IEC, FDA, UL, CE, CSA, BIS etc. will be preferredExperience in the field of Medical Devices product design e.g. X-Ray, Mammography systems etc. will be added advantageDisciplined team worker, ability to work independentlyAbility to present ideas and to convince project team membersBe structured and self-organizedExcellent communication skillsTeam player, leadership skills and drive for resultsQuality mindset in design and documentationIn return, we offer youA rewarding career in Philips with attractive package.Extensive set of tools to drive your career, such as a personal development budget, free training and coachingAttractive collective health insurance packageOpportunity to buy Philips shares and products with discount,
