The team is always looking for passionate, dedicated individuals who are self-motivated in their work and careers.What you will be doing:You will be part of the team that is responsible for developing new applications for VRPPart of kernel development team.Design and Develop next generation software that support the VRPWork in a fast-paced environment and solving challenging problemsPractice lean startup style velocity to deliver high performance and high quality deliverablesCollaborate and develop on automation for your code and unit testingManage and setup up work priorities for yourself based on the deliverablesBe prepared to work in a dynamic environment with changing prioritiesProvides high quality documentation, release notes and root cause analysis, where required, meeting company standards.What skills, experience and education you need as a team member to succeed:Education: BS/MS degree in Computer science or equivalent fieldHaving 5 years of experience in kernel and system programming in Linux/Unix/WindowsMust have strong C/C programming skillsMust possess knowledge of Algorithms & Data Structure2 years of experience of data analytics and storage domain technologies such as Logical Volume Managers, Filesystems, Snapshots, Disk Arrays, SAN and NAS Devices.Preferred to have knowledge of Cloud technology (Knowledge of REST APIs, AWS S3, OpenStack, Azure) & future of information management in cloudGood kernel debugging capabilities are requiredAnalytical skills to assess information and apply judgment in decision makingWriting High Quality Unit Tests and automation around itExposure to Agile processesExcellent written and verbal communication skills.At Veritas, we care about the causes close to your heart and enable you to volunteer, donate, and do good.
