Job Description

  • Self-motivated, task and schedule driven, with a willingness to fill in when needed and quickly identify or move to the next task when the current task is completed, and have a proven ability to work as part of a DevOps team.
  • Effectively communicate and document designs/processes and effectively listen and discuss technical problems with the test and development teams.
  • Actively participate in detailed process and tools evaluations and will have experience architecting solutions for continuous code integration and delivery.
  • Understanding of building environments across both window and linux using multiple compilers for multiple languages.
About You
  • Knowledge of software engineering, infrastructure development, and/or QA tools development, scripting/automation skills (including Python, Perl, Groovy, etc.)
  • Knowledge of software build process and using tools like NAnt, Ant, makefile
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery systems (preferred Jenkins)
  • Understand code management tools and methodologies (Git, SVN, Jira, etc)
  • Knowledge of provisioning and troubleshooting Linux and Windows Server operating systems, storage and networking devices
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (Docker, Mesos, KVM, VMWare etc.)
  • Problem Solver and learner to adopt new technology quickly
  • Team player and works with team in synergy, listener for team to understand their problem and ideas
