Job Description

Description and RequirementsFrom core to cloud to edge, BMC delivers the software and services that enable over 10,000 global customers, including 84% of the Forbes Global 100, to thrive in their ongoing evolution to an Autonomous Digital Enterprise.PRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Manage daily and monthly activities to support financial planning and reporting activities across BMC within OneStream applications. Maintains existing application and process flows and designs and develops additional applications and functionality as required.
  • Proactively build working relationships with the Corporate FP&A and Accounting groups and related Operating Unit personnel to deliver, maintain and enhance functionality.
  • Perform administrative activities for the OneStream application
  • Ensures production environment stability and performance are up to par and meet SLA agreements.
  • Provides timely response and resolution of emergency production questions, issues, and defects.
  • Develops test scenarios, test scripts, integration and acceptance testing.
  • Assist with set up and maintenance of end user security, which includes creating and provisioning of user groups, filters and security profiles in alignment with the needs of the business.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
QUALIFICATION:REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Strong knowledge and hands on experience in SQL, automation, some experience in reporting tools like Tableau, MicroStrategy.
  • Must have strong analytical skills
  • Must be an effective communicator
  • Knowledge of general database principles
  • Ability to manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously and organize and prioritize work accordingly
  • Bachelors degree in Finance or IT computer Science or equivalent degree.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years experience working with OneStream or Hyperion Planning and Essbase Development and Administration, including 1-2 years as the responsible administrator.
  • Strong skills related to execution and implementation of process changes.
  • Experience with Classic methods of metadata management is highly preferred.
  • Ability to track and complete multiple requests with conflicting priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Must be a team player with the ability to work independently and be accountable for results which may include the need for overtime work during peak activity periods.
  • Possess the capacity to listen / consult / advise and provide solutions for a variety of stakeholders who may have concurrent or competing priorities.
DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS:
  • Experience in OneStream and Hyperion is a plus.
  • Working knowledge on Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting process and functions.
  • Experience with On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) applications is helpful
