Candidate must have Get it done and Do it Right attitudes while performing the following responsibilities:Defining functional specifications and providing design information for product enhancements and maintenance where appropriateAccurately estimating the size and scope of development efforts and completing deliverables on timeDeveloping and testing product code according to BMC quality standardsMaintaining knowledge of product environments and applicable software technologiesWork closely with the architect, Quality Assurance Reps, technical publications and other team members to design, develop, trouble shoot/debug features and functions of the DB2 Performance produce lineBuild prototypes to achieve product definition and desired design goalsConduct design and code reviews.This position requires 5+ years of experience designing and implementing mainframe applications and system exits in an IBM z/OS environment. Strong experience in MVS Assembler, JCL, VSAM, JES2/3, SDSF, ISPF. Strong experience in at least one DBMS (IMS/DB2). Strong Diagnostics, Debugging and Troubleshooting skills. Experience in z/OS Internals and Control blocks, REXX is beneficial.,
