Job Description

  • Develops and tests product code according to BMC quality standards.
  • Maintains knowledge of product environments and applicable software technologies.
  • Provides complete documentation in the form of commented code, problem status information, and design documents.
  • Performs thorough problem analysis that results in resolution of product-related problems according to BMC support standards.
  • Completes code and other deliverables on schedule.- Performs thorough unit testing; supports systems and integration testing as required to provide a quality product.
  • The Developer will be working on BMC products by implementing UI framework for the Platform.
  • Responsibilities include both UI framework development primarily in AngularJS, and unit testing of all code developed.
  • The candidate should be well versed with karma and jasmine to write units for the code being developed.
  • Additional responsibilities include documenting code developed and fixing bugs in the development for various applications.
  • The candidate will do full cycle end to end development in an Agile environment.
  • The candidate should have hands on experience and should be an expert in AngularJS.
  • The candidate will also work with tools such as Eclipse; Ant, JUnit, Perforce
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Java with 6-8 years of experience with core java and 2 years experience with advance Java.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programing and data structures.
  • Strong software debugging still
  • Experience working in an agile development environment and tools is required.
  • Prefer candidates that have previous experience developing commercial software
  • Great Communication Skills are mandatory.
