    OS - Suse Linux 2nd Line Support 12*5*365 from offshore +OncallResource should be holding 6 to 9 years experience .Duties and ResponsibilitiesProactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime serviceEngineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needsMaintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environmentsFault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptionsProactively monitoring system performance and capacity planningManage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardwareCreate and modify scripts or applications to perform tasksProvide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environmentCollaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processesBelow mentioned are the key responsibilitiesHandson experience on SUSE 12 SP2 to SUSE 12 SP5.Monthly Qualys patching in same month (certain level) high with week etc.TEF standard Vulnerability policyServer Patch Management.User Management., LVM ManagementHealth Checks, Performance Monitor & House KeepingNetwork Configuration in OS LevelCrash Dump generation and reporting.Capacity Resourcing, Capacity Management.File Management., Cluster ManagementNTP Configuration, SSL Certificate Management.OS Troubleshooting, OS Migration process.Linux Administrator qualifications and requirementsPrevious working experience as a Linux Administrator for 7+ year sBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar relevant degree IN depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Debian, etc.Functional experience with DB, MySQLFamiliarity with VMWare and SAN management and conceptsExpert in Shell, Perl, and/or Python scriptingSolid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMPAdditional Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE and LPIC) will be considered an advantageStrong problem solving and communication skillsRemote support experience.Command to handle single handed Linux infra .
