Act as a system engineer for Varian IT team. Follow and execute software portfolio management processes and policies to create and maintain Varian software packages. Maintain and validate Varian software portfolio in CMDBCreate and maintain installation, update and removal packages in SCCM and AirWatch environments Plan and execute scripting related to packaging activities with PowerShell (or similar) languages Usage and execution of software distribution system like AirWatch and SCCM Plan and execute software vulnerability management tool like Flexera SVM Execution of defined packaging and maintenance procedures. Follow defined polices around packaging processes. Maintain and develop software service environment with lifecycle processes Maintain and develop software information in CMDB Maintain and develop software CMDB data and metadata in Service - Now Participate and update managed software packaging processes and policies
Job Requirements Educational requirements: Degree in computer science or equivalent desirable MCSE or above desirable Minimum 3 - year experience as System Administrator or in Systems Engineering Information Technology Sound knowledge of and professional technical experience with Intel based servers and PCs/laptops. Windows server 2012/2106. Windows 7/10, VMware and virtualization in general Experience on working with software packaging tools (SCCM, AirWatch) Experience on scripting with PowerShell and other similar languages Knowledge of ITIL or hold the ITIL Foundation certificate. Skills Fluency in English, both written and spoken Must be mature and tactful Must be highly motivated and have a positive attitude Must be a team player Excellent listening and customer service skills Excellent analytic and logical thinking Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Understanding of commercial terms Willing to travel occasionally.
