Job Description

This exciting role offers opportunity to:

  • Analyze, prioritize, and organize direct/indirect tax business requirements and reporting needs.
  • Organization and governance of evolving tax data requirements while streamlining data request
  • Evaluate existing processes and provide strategic improvements to drive efficiencies of financial data flow
  • Conducts tax member meetings ensuring tax objectives are met during subject matter expert discussions
  • Partner with the tax departments on process improvements
  • Assist with management and coordination of tax technology projects with global internal and external tax department resources
  • Work as an interface between Tax Department and IT for addressing any reports related issues
QualificationsRequirement:
  • CA/ICWA/MBA in accounting, finance, BE or BTech required
  • Minimum 3 years of corporate tax and/or public accounting and/or ITexperience required with at least 2 years of tax technology/systems focus
  • Knowledge of financial and ERP system data processing (Oracle and SAP)
  • Experience with corporate accounting and tax systems (e.g. Corptax, Vertex, Onesource, Oracle, Hyperion)
  • Experience with data analytical and visualization tools preferred (Alteryx, Tableau, Pyramid, Power BI, SQL)
  • Solid computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Visio, and Power Point)
  • Solid critical thinking/analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities while meeting deadlines
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Prepared to travel as needed
