Job Description

Some of the responsibilities are:

  • Is responsible to manage the team s productivity and processing quality.
  • Is responsible to learn and be a subject matter expert in the distributed pricing team.
  • Processing email requests and PCNs (price change notification reports) if required to maintain TAT during influx.
  • Is able to guide and train team members for PCNs and email requests.
  • Responsible to provide required help to speed up the email request completions and PCNs.
  • Responsible to deliver teams productivity as per set protocol.
  • Preparing leave backups and monthly assisting- buddy rotation for team members.
  • Finding gaps of process knowledge within the team members and taking corrective actions against them.
  • Setting up goals to be accomplished to attain team s productivity.
  • Having a proactive and dynamic approach towards the distributed pricing team goals.
  • Assigning daily work to the team.
  • Tracking the daily processed and resolved incidents and taking corrective actions if required.
  • Assist the new joiners with questions.
  • Is responsible to plan and conduct trainings.
  • Responsible to audit the work of team members (Spot- check emails).
  • Conducts quarterly reviews of the team members, which are documented and shared with the manager in proper format.
Skills / Experience / Qualifications
  • Exhibits expert knowledge skills around business processes and the systems to implement it across teams. Is able to guide other member and drive results.
  • Is independently able to leverage upon his/her overall knowledge and analytical skills. Influence and guide his/her team and cross team members to arrive at feasible solutions for problems of complex nature.
  • Understands requirements and problems of high complexity and develops solutions to guide other team members. Also works with the cross teams to understand problems of high complexity
  • Integrate and drive team members to update on new information, changes in process knowledge, upgradations, new approaches and best practices. Responsible for building team capabilities.
  • Prioritizes, plans manages own and team deliverables to meet goals and stakeholders expectations in terms of Quality and timelines. Guide others to deliver value.
  • Takes ownership and high levels of accountability for team actions and decisions essential to deliver business value and results. Shows and instills sense of urgency on issues/opportunities and progresses appropriately.
  • Is able to create or contribute, consistently follow and drive team on compliance, standards and processes.
  • Helps set team direction - effort estimation, scheduling, and task allocation. Relied on for limited interim management responsibilities as necessary under Managers supervision.
  • Should be able to form a vision for the team and relate to larger picture. Leads by influence and works towards the overall success of teams, department organization. Ensures efficient task delegation and management of the team.
  • Takes ownership in challenging situations and pro- actively leads the team in resolving the situations
  • Identifies the team training needs, drives training Knowledge sharing sessions with the team members to enable them grow. Provides constructive and timely feedback and provides the necessary encouragement and support to enable the team members perform at the next higher level
  • Exchanges thoughts and information in a clear and impactful manner across all groups in business, IS (as required) external. Engages all right stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Adapts information and communication style in a manner, which is comprehensible by the business or other stakeholders.
