Build your career with us and apply today.ROLE:To supervise a single sub process or processes on a day to day basis.Responsible for day to day management of an IRAS sub process(s), including conducting the performance management process. Implement & monitors goals/objectives established for the team and ensure the timely and accurate completion of all related tasks.IRAS TEAM:The IRAS team within Bangalore currently has approximately 250 staff members which are expected to grow further by the end of 2019. The team in Bangalore equate to around over 48% of the global IRAS staff and the largest in actual absolute staff numbers.The Bangalore team is split into supporting the three regions where Northern Trust has clients. The team provides services covering performance measurement, compliance monitoring, risk measurement, data integrity and index data oversight.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Process ManagementDaily load planning & prioritizing of deliverables (Daily and monthly)Ongoing maintenance of production procedure & documents. (DPAD/SLA/MRSD)Develops and implements process control procedures, and recommends solutions (strategic/tactical) post detailed analysis to recurring operations problemsReview & authorize work of all direct reports for accuracy, and ensures that client specifications & standards are metEnsure set SLAs are either met or exceeded on a daily and monthly basisMonthly process KPIs are all prepared and released on timely mannerEscalation management (First point of contact)Day to day relationship management with Home Country stakeholders.Act as an subject matter expert (SME)Develop and maintain all required MIS for the process & release them on time.Should be completely aware and periodically review Risk related issues with the Section ManagerDrive Performance , productivity and efficiency through the team(s)People ManagementConducting one to one meetings, midyear and yearly appraisals of all direct reportsLeadership and organizational skills to resolve day to day people issues & provide prompt feedback to staff with documentationCelebrate Team success.Error analysis to identify possible knowledge gaps and subsequent trainings for all direct reportsOngoing maintenance of time keeping & updating work schedule, BR category, mandatory trainings and holiday schedule for direct reportsIdentifies training and development needs, and assist the SM to establish performance standards for the team including performance objectives.Skill Metrics & Talent managementOwn & support any projects for your teamACCOUNTABILITIES:Employees are required to comply with the regulatory regime in which Northern Trust operates as appropriate to the above roleEmployees are expected to exercise due care and diligence, ensuring the areas the incumbent is responsible for are organised and controlledEmployees are required to observe proper standards of market, business and personal conduct, demonstrating integrity in the execution of dutiesReports to Operations /Section Manager as appropriateResponsible for a team of up to 10-12, including Analysts, Senior Analysts, Technical Coordinators & Associate consultants (if applicable)SKILLS:Assertive & effective communication skills & ability to manage difficult communicationBe able to mentor through confidence and approachabilityApproachable and able to promote teamwork through creative solutionsGood analytical, numerical and reasoning skillsTime management and delegation skillsMS Office, word and excel. Candidates leading a small team is a plus.Should have been a consistent performer in previous company in the recent year(s)For internal movements within NOS,o Must have been in current role for 24 months at least, with at least 6 years of total expo Candidates with set Development Plan are preferred.Opening is for NAM shift but the partner is expected to work across multiple shifts as per business needs,
