Are you a self-starter Are you known for hitting deadlines and staying on top of delivery We are looking for someone like this to: to be responsible for ensuring that delivery adheres to the UBS Testing Standards: that all changes have sufficient test coverage, with documented test cases and that those test cases are executed and defects fixed. work as part of a team, helping to ensure that all User Stories have well-documented User Acceptance Criteria, and that those tests are executed within the iteration cycle. demonstrate an ability to learn new business and technical concepts quickly. be comfortable working and collaborating as part of a global distributed team, but will also show individual initiative and an ability to take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution. has an excellent attention to detail and will be prepared to push for quality when delivery pressures are highYour teamClient Lifecycle Management team is part of the IB Operations function within Group Technology in UBS and is dedicated to providing data that is a critical enabler to the various businesses and logistics functions across the Bank, providing a central source of high quality reference data (including Client, Account, SSI, Instrument, Issuer, Pricing, Book, Product and Calendar) to those functions within the UBS Group. youll be a Test Engineer with strong QA skills to ensure the delivery of high quality solutions by providing test analysis, test execution, and automation solutions in the Client Lifecycle Management space. youll also be working and engaging business analysts, developers, outsource vendor and end-users at appropriate stages in the project lifecycle, experience in functional test planning and execution exposure to test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Quality Centre) good knowledge of testing theory produced clear and concise reports during the lifecycle of test phases or automation projects experience in scope, requirements, and impact analysis good communication skills (oral and written) experience in test cases creation based on the best practices and using various test design techniques ability to communicate concise ideas and solutions to non-technical stakeholders experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks proactive investigating and debugging of application defects identify opportunities for test automation or efficiencies through continuous improvement processes working collaboratively with other teams during test preparation and execution activities, SQL basic knowledge Nice to have: experienced in the Fenergo KYC application exposure to Performance testing tools e.g. JMeter,ISTQB Foundation Level certificate or higher
