Job Description

    Security Patch Management team is a part of Cyber Hygiene, a function in Technology services that provides support for monitoring, planning, implementing & coordinating server/database, middleware, components patching activities across all platforms. The team ensures to deliver patching, compliance review and timely remediation of vulnerabilities. An important part of Cyber Security. be responsible to deliver security patching, compliance review and timely remediation of vulnerabilities Work closely with IT Security Operations, business teams and infrastructure teams to identify, track, and plan accordingly to remediate open vulnerabilities on identified systems. Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Technical Review Board (TRB) meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks. Analyze reported vulnerability, CMDB data and create patching plan around IT events Negotiate, plan and manage patch activities. Generate & publish weekly/monthly patching status reports Schedule patches in patch deployment tool Escalation of issues/ potential problems to appropriate owners/ streams Raise & coordinate change requests Ensure all work activities adhere to the bank s policies and procedures Organize & chair meeting with the implementers group/App teams on the patching schedule & planning Actively participate in project calls/meetings Should actively involve in testing of patching tools & provide inputs on tool functionality & enhancements if need be Work closely with release management team during the patching activity Provide support on incidents that occurred during or post patching Manage stakeholder escalations and provide CAPA as applicableYour teamYoull be working with the Security Patch Management team a part of Cyber Hygiene, a function in Technology services that provides support for monitoring, planning, implementing & coordinating server/database, middleware, components patching activities across all platforms. An important part of Cyber Security., Your expertise : Experience in IT support role within Financial services industry Bachelor degree in Technology or equivalent higher education in I.T. ITIL foundation certification highly desirable Operations & team lead to achieve common goals and SLA Effective stakeholder management Strong Communication & Reporting skills Familiar with IT OS/Security Patch management Methodology Change, Release & Incident management process Knowledge on CVE & Solutions released by vendors such as Red Hat & Microsoft Proficient in Office 365 (Excel,Outlook,Word,PPT) and handles huge datasets Knowledge on Advanced Excel, Power Bi, Alteryx will be an advantage for data analytics & reporting Knowledge on GSNOW, Tableau, Tanium, Nessus Able to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels Client-focused and ability to empathize with clients needs and instill confidence that their issue will be dealt with efficiently and effectively Excellent team player Pro-active, positive personality and can-do attitude Strong learning capability and committed to self-development Able to adapt to changes and have flexibility in performing the support roleSupport TimingsTeam provide 17x5 support from Mon-Fri. 24 hours Support on weekends during events on rotational basis General Patching Support Hours: Mon-Fri, 13:00 - 02:00 IST Regular Weekend Support : Sat 06:30 - Sunday 00:00 IST(Sat 3 Shifts & Sun 2 Shifts on Rotation basis)*Sunday Night Shift is applicable base on workload Must be willing to work rotating shift assignments and Holidays as per shift ROTA
