Job Description

    Roles and ResponsibilitiesOur client provides comprehensive solutions around Machine Diagnostics, Predictive Maintenance and Condition Monitoring to the top engineering and process industries globally. It leverages IoT, machine learning, artificial intelligence, smart communications, cloud computing, analytics, and data science techniques to accelerate digital adoption and turn Industry 4.0 into a business reality.Position: Technical Lead (Hardware)Typical Responsibilities
    • Design and Development of circuit schematic for IoT products
    • Design and development of HW for EMC, UL compliant products,
    • Worst-case analysis, Thermal design, and parts selection for cost-competitive design
    • Interfacing peripherals and high-end Microcontrollers
    • Component selection and datasheets understanding
    • Alternate components / obsolescent components
    • Circuit design, prototyping, board bring-up, and testing
    • Support for manufacturing
    • Documentation
    • Drive team-level discussions regarding the product roadmap, including features and general architecture.
    • Drive ongoing revision cycles to embedded devices hardware architecture and design.
    Desired Candidate ProfileQualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Electronics and communication engineering or Electrical and Electronics
    • Engineering, related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
    • 8-10 years of experience as a Hardware designer or a Hardware design lead
    Must-haves -
    • Experience in PCB design tools like Dip trace is desired.
    • Familiarity with 32-bit microprocessor / microcontroller architectures as well as
    • interconnect protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, USB) and sensor data acquisition.
    • Experience developing IoT (Internet-of-Things) products.
    • Experience in Battery based systems, WIFI and eSIM
    • Well versed with the usage of tools like DSO.
    Good To have -
    • Proficiency with Agile / Scrum or similar collaborative tools a plus.
    • Knowledge on IoT products
