Prior experience growing product management practice for an agile development organization Lead customer research, use case prioritization, interface prototype creation, technical design discussions, and functional requirement documentation for large-scale development efforts Deliver high-quality software with complete independence and autonomy in a high-growth environment where priorities shift rapidly Expertly balances user needs, business goals, internal stakeholders, and constraints to build and manage roadmaps Communicate clearly and with precision to build consensus and drive to next steps Understand agile development methodologies comprehensively, with a track record of data-driven decision making and continuous improvement across teams Lead test and learn experiments to create roadmaps that prioritize development and create value for users Build strong working relationships with both internal leadership and development teams Contribute to the growth of a product management team, with the ability to recruit, develop, and retain teammates Amplify impact by aligning teams and empowering them to work toward strategic objectives Role Director, Product Management - Technical (PM-T) Responsibilities PM-Ts play a central, cross-functional role to develop and execute Data & Services product vision. In addition to working closely with development teams and customer experience designers to drive products and features from conception to release, PM-Ts partner with client users and internal teams to help maximize the impact of Mastercards products. Lead technical product management responsibilities for platform products Manage the overall strategic direction for the platform design of products, identifying and proposing solutions for the product development risks of value, feasibility, and usability Lead user research and requirements documentation for large-scale, open-ended problems Partner to refine high-level business objectives, evaluate trade-offs, and create product-level and feature-level roadmapse Support development team success by providing clarity, highlighting dependencies, and engaging in decisions about design, requirements, and tradeoffs Work with cross-functional, geographically-distributed teams to ensure successful design, development, and delivery of products Demonstrate user empathy and advocacy throughout the development cycle Engage directly with users and internal stakeholders to identify platform issues and opportunities Synthesize feedback across users to provide creative input to features, prioritization, and vision across products Build a strong, shared understanding of user needs and advocate on behalf of users in design decisions Provide mentorship and leadership for PM-T teammates Provide regular coaching and hands-on project engagement to junior PM-Ts to support their professional development Contribute to organizational planning to ensure the success of both PM-T teammates and projects Create a data-driven and continuous-learning culture,
