Technical Project Leader - CSAR Tools and Base Software

Job Description

This dual product/project focused position leads the overall technical coordination of lower complexity product development activities and is accountable for the project management of technical risk and quality of the product up to and including early production. This position integrates the requirements of the many interdisciplinary and cross functional stakeholders of product development, often involving difficult decisions that impact cost and delivery without sacrifice to the quality expectations of the value package profile.Obtains input and negotiates with program leadership, customers, customer teams, product engineers or technology teams to deliver robust prototype and production designs, technical risk mitigation plans, and coordinated deliverables of new or current product change activity. Other important stakeholders of this role include preferred partner suppliers, manufacturing, purchasing, technical leadership and marketing teams. Makes decisions in the areas of design and project risk trade-offs that impact program cost or delivery without sacrifice of quality expectations. Main focus will include working in business processes of of Product Preceding Technology (PPT), Value Package Introduction (VPI) or Current Product Support (CPS) and using tools such as Product Development Six Sigma (PDSS), iDFMEA, Voice of the Customer and Voice of Other Stakeholders (VOC/VOX), Integrity, MS Office Suite, New Unique and Difficult (NUD) and project risk 9-box and Value Package Introduction - Project Portfolio Management (VPI-PPM), all required to support high quality decision making. Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred.

3. Good to have Automotive product experience
4. Ability to create Tools integration specification which contains the functional requirements for those use cases and utilizes standard messages (UDS, XCP), network (CAN, Ethernet) and standard metadata (A2L, ODX).
5. Understanding of cybersecurity principles (e.g. AES and RSA encryption and decryption, authentication, digital signature, communication encryption, and secure boot)
6. Ability to work with cross functional teams (Service, manufacturing, Tools teams, OBD, Telematics, Base SW team, etc) to gather all input voices and understand their use cases.
7. Technical in-depth understanding of Standards Protocols UDS (ISO 14229-1), WWH-OBD (ISO 27145), SAE J1939 DoCAN (ISO 15765), DoIP (ISO 13400)
8. Technical knowledge on Data Descriptions ODX ISO 22901-1, OTX ISO 13209, ASAM MCD -2
9. Technical knowledge on Bus Systems CAN ISO 11898, Ethernet, Modbus
10. Experience on electronic tools such as Softing DTS 8, Vector CANape, ETAS INCA, Cummins Insite, Cummins CalTerm, ATI Vision, Vector CANoe and Vector CANdelaStudio
