This Technical Support Engineer II position has the primary responsibilities to work as part of the technical content creation team to develop the new generation of ANSYS courses. The primary focus involves reviewing, editing, and finalizing training materials (videos, powerpoint presentations, etc). This position requires the engineer possesses engineering technical background and develops the proficiency of using ANSYS software.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work within the content generation team and assists with variety of tasks: edit/format teaching/presentation videos, check for content consistency and accuracy, follow all branding requirements. Assist the N.A. based team members with the new content scoping and creation. Assist the N.A. based team members with creating/updating/reviewing technical examples. Technical participation to assist customers who post questions within the ANSYS Discussion Forum board. Assists with other tasks and responsibilities as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor s degree in Electrical / Aerospace / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or other technical discipline with experience in an engineering software environment. Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to learn new technical areas. Ability to work independently, as well as with others in a diverse team environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and to communicate effectively with customers. Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in fluent English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MS or PhD degree is a plus. A minimum 4 years of experience in an engineering software environment preferred. Experience in using commercial or in-house CFD software for real world, industry level applications is desirable. Available for occasional travel (less than 20%).
