Job Description

We are actively looking for a talented Test Automation Engineering Lead to join our growing Tech. Services practice. This is a full - time salaried position.

The ideal candidate has experience in Test Automation Engineering Lead before and can anticipate what needs to be done rather than be instructed. These positions need leaders who can adapt, work in a very fast - pace, enriching environment and is looking for a career rather than just a job.

What You ll Do:

  • Lead offshore testing and QA team and drive delivery of test automation projects for various Cloud, Web and Packaged Enterprise applications and solutions
  • Design, develop and execute automated test scripts using open source technologies such as Selenium, Extent Reports, Maven, Jenkins, GitHub
  • Contribute to development and enhancement of test automation frameworks
  • Understand business domain of applications under test and manually execute test scripts as part of various test execution cycles.
  • Maintain automated test scripts, work with test ALM and defect management applications
  • Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management on a regular basis and ensure timely delivery
  • Mentor team members on industry leading test automation design techniques and principles based upon open source automation tools and frameworks
  • Ensure that all test team members have the tools and training they need to be productive and follow the established processes and standards for working on their deliverables

What Youll Bring:

  • 7 - 10 years of progressive experience leading technical test teams to deliver on automated testing projects for enterprise business applications and solutions
  • Hands on experience installing, configuring, automating, building and deploying automated test scripts using various tools and frameworks - Selenium, Extent Reports, Maven, Jenkins, GitHub
  • Advanced level experience with Java programming language and Eclipse IDE environment
  • Experience executing test scripts in hosted test lab environments on multiple test machines
  • Strong knowledge of various testing methodologies, test processes, test automation techniques, test design principles and full project implementation life cycle
  • Expert in test efforts estimation; test plans creation, test scenarios and test scripts development as per client s business requirements
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and adaptive to changing client and project requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written) - the position requires regular interaction with client and project team stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem - solving skills
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field required
