Roles and responsibilities Gear Ratio selection, Tractive effort diagram, Saw tooth curve, power reserve curve, vehicle acceleration curves in MATLAB, Gear macro and micro geometry analysis along with complete gearbox in Romax / KissSoft, Gearbox center distance optimization.CAM Chain, guide, Sprocket & tensioner design, worm gear design, understanding of bearing types, sizes & selection, gear cutting tool commonisation.Knowledge on different gear materials & Heat Treatment Processes, Gears & shaft manufacturing processes. Understanding on Component level Tests and Gearbox Validations.Application and knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA, Design guidelines & relevant experience of working on quality issues related to transmission parts.Required Candidate profileJob Requirements: Technical/ Functional: Hands on Experience on Romax software / Kiss Soft for gearbox design, Excellent analytical skill for data interpretation & advance use of Excel, Understanding of Finite Element & NVH Analysis for transmission parts, Should possess excellent presentation skill, Experienced in Application of GD&T, DFS, DFM, Quality documents like DVP, DRBFM, DFMEA, DRS, Design Guidelines.ments like DVP, DRBFM, DFMEA, DRS, Design Guidelines.,
