In this role you will lead a team of 2 people to handle the entire treasury operations for South Asia markets (India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan) and you would be reporting to Finance Director South Asia markets.

You will be based in Chakan , Pune

What You Will Do

As Treasury Manager you will:

  • Manage Corporate treasury operations cash, forex and interest rate management, bank relationship management.
  • Comply with Group treasury policies and statutory policies.
  • Manage external and internal reporting related to Treasury.
  • Manage the cash in an effective manner through planning, sourcing and deployment
  • Manage the interest exposure through a variety of short and long term fund management strategies
  • Handle forex management by limiting the impact of volatile currencies on the business result. Liaise with Group Treasury to frame and deploy forex strategies in the market.
  • Implement the Group Treasury guidelines in markets and resolve areas of dissonance with statutory policies.
  • Handle relationship management with banks. Ensure our banking operations are smooth and have a seamless interface with business operations.
  • Report the performance of treasury operations cash forecast, cost of borrowing, funds utilization, hedge reporting
  • Monitor and drive simplification and standardization of treasury operations within the region.
  • Coordinate discussions between Group treasury and region to implement new projects or drive changes.
  • Drive efficiency of banking operations at a region level by focusing on banking strategies, new banking products and negotiations on cost aspects.
Who You Are

We believe you have:

Language Skills & Education:

  • High proficiency in written and verbal communication in English
  • CA or MBA qualification in finance from a reputed college in India
  • Certified in Treasury Management

Professional Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years experience in various areas of Corporate Treasury
  • In depth knowledge of banking products like Letters of Credit, Guarantees, cash management products, foreign currency loans, hedging instruments etc.
  • Relationship management skills with Global banks
  • Expert knowledge of documentation and compliance of treasury operations at a local and global level
  • Working knowledge of export control and import procedures.
