    UNIX Developer-Unix ScriptingLocation : PuneShift timings : 10AM to 7PM ISTContract Duration : 8 MonthsNeed only immediate joiners.Note : candidates who works in development rather than production support.Job Description and Principal ResponsibilitiesThe Shared Services Service Consultant, Applications for Reconciliation is responsible for develop and maintain computer programs and processes. Design and develop change resilient application code and execute robust effective testing. Ensure expected business requirements and related benefits are delivered within appropriate time/budget parameters. Comply with Technology mandates as they relate to methodology, process, and compliance.ExperienceBachelor s degree or equivalentOver all 5 to 8 years of experience and minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Unix shell scripting, PL/SQL & OracleKnowledge on Control-M schedulerExperience with PL/SQL and Oracle queries will be an added advantageExperience with project feasibility, definition requirements, design, testing and project delivery.Exposure to Continuous Integration (CI) & Continuous Deployment (CD).Experience with both traditional Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.Required SkillsUnix Shell Scriptingo Design and implement shell scriptso Run complex commands to analyse logs, data files on Linux nodesAbility to work with Control-M schedulerAbility to write PL/SQL code and Oracle queriesCommunicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiencesProven problem solving and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and teamwork skillsWork in a manner in keeping with the Northern Trust company s core valuesFast learnerSelf-motivated
