Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Convert the business requirement into technical specifications
  • Work closely with client designing and building data integration, storing, and consumption patterns
  • Build high-level conceptual architecture and low-level technical architecture
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously as data architect and guide project teams in data engineering pipelines
  • Suggest improvements to client in current eco system
  • Suggest new tools/technologies that can be used to deliver/improve existing implementation of use cases
Minimum Job Requirement:
  • Degree or higher education in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have an overall experience of 8 to 10 years.
  • Must have relevant experience of 5+ years.
  • Must have implemented On-prem/cloud-native Data Lake solutions.
  • Must know building data model, ETL pipelines, and Data governance methods/models.
  • Must have worked on Azure-based Data Lake implementations using services such as ADLS, Blob Storage, ADF, and Azure Databricks.
  • Must be able to create clean and precise design documents, architecture diagrams, and ETL workflow design.
  • Proficient in Spark (Python/Scala), Hands-on with Databricks Spark.
  • Good to know about working with Presto.
  • Must be able to convert business requirements into technical requirements and determine best-suited technologies to implement it.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic environment with working on multiple projects at a time.
  • Must be able to prioritize work based on the requirement.
