Job Description

  • Hadoop HDFS, Mapreduce, TezHive (intermediate level) Eg. should write UPSERT incremental load logic without hiccups, good practical familiarity of windowing functions. SCD type 2 load techniques (optional)SqoopSQLs (intermediate to complex)Scheduling techniques (CA Automic basics)Unix scripting basicsAny of the cloud AWS/Azure/GCP
Secondary Skills (Good to have and hence preferred or learn on the job)
  • Python basicsSpark (pyspark) basics.Pyspark streaming ingestions consuming kafka basics.Mainframe, Datastage and Teradata source analysis / research
