We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.Introduction: An experienced and hands on Project Manager is required to lead the analysis, define and drive the overall Client Money & Asset Deliveries within Markets Post Trades. Ensure Barclays compliance of this Reporting regulation covering Client Money & Asset responsibilities. Take the lead in planning, best practice, solutions, tracking, execution, and overall project management of the overall CMA Road Map to target state, which includes various milestone like F2B analysis & delivery, ensuring we have the right framework and data lineage with the overall controls. This is joining a Global team, and the expectation is to function with teams spread across geography covering EMEA & India regions. Accountable for ensuring all aspects of the program and project delivery are scoped, planned, tracked, implemented and maintained post successful completion. Expectation is to drive the F2B deliveries as part of the 2023 book of work, which will ensure simplification of the overall process flows as part of Client Money & Asset reporting. Ensuring successful delivery of the Stock Hub UI migration to the latest Angular framework, working with the vendor team to ensure we have a timely fixed price delivery.What will you be doing o Key specific accountabilities. o Project Owner: Drive the overall Client Money & Asset F2B project which involves changes to the complete F2B architecture in the process meeting business objectives and industry & audit deadlines. o Business analysis Translate regulations and refactoring asks into business requirements. Documentation and analysis using appropriate tools and techniques. Expectation is to be hands on with a capability to draw flows/F2B architecture and walk through with Global Stake Holders. o Industry engagement: Act as Barclay s representative in industry calls. Ensuring Barclays interest are taken into account and industry initiatives/items are appropriately disseminated o Vendor Engagement Evaluation of key vendor products analysing the capabilities and driving the adoption of which one is best suited to the overall ask & requirements. o Execution - Working with global cross functional team, agree defined action plan with owners and dates and follow through to delivery. o Communication - ensuring all key stakeholders understand project milestones, risks and issues o Review of guidelines published by regulators; perform impact assessment and rules extraction to understand cross asset impact to Operations. o Design and document business processes for new world view post regulation implementations. Ensuring business users are trained accordingly for any process changes. o Working with legal, compliance, finance, risk and control to ensure firm-wide operational compliance o Working with IT, Operations, Business and cross-asset colleagues to ensure coordinated Front to Back delivery o Ownership of release plans and co-ordination of releases o Guide a team of BA s on the ground and build capabilitieso Stakeholder management and leadership. o Covered in Key Accountabilitieso Decision making and problem solving. o Covered in Key Accountabilitieso Risk and Control: All Barclays colleagues have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy StandardsWhat we re looking for: o 10+ years of Core Java experience o 10+ years of experience in the areas of Multithreading, Memory management and handling high volumes of data processing o Database experience is required, knowledge of RDBMS SQL Server / Oracle is preferred o Team Management experience is essential and must have a led teams with greater than size of 5-10 o SQL, PL/SQL experience is mandatory o Big Data / Hadoop technology work experience is nice to have o JVM performance tuning, garbage collection optimisation experience will be helpful o Strong track record of execution and results, high level of drive to meet deadlines and targets. o Strong proven analytical background o Strong knowledge of investment banking front to back processes and Operations. o Knowledge of recent regulatory initiatives within ESMA or other E.U regionsSkills that will help you in the role : Good experience of regulatory and client money asset projects,
