The candidate will join a team responsible for managing and developing enterprise-level Java based risk platform for equity derivatives.What will you be doing Flow Volatility Trading platform covers pre- and post-trade pricing, analytics, volatility fitting & visualization, intra-day charting, stress scenarios, rich real-time Pnl, Risk, Pnl-Explain metrics and regulatory feeds. The suite of applications also enables auto delta hedging, vega roll strategies, delta crossing, real-time trade capture & position management. The platform comprises a suite of applications connecting to a number of horizontally scalable back-end services backed by low latency distributed messaging and scalable high-efficiency compute architecture. The system provides live ticking data to desktops, rich real-time analytics and also feeds data to finance and regulatory reporting systems.Work on a highly visible real-time front office Flow Derivatives platform for large revenue generating trading desk Analyze, design, test and implement complex server side risk components in a highly distributed, low latency platform Contribute in the development of low latency messaging components Development of Risk and PnL components dealing directly with quant libraries Work on revenue generating business projects for the Flow Derivatives Desk Optimize processes to achieve hardware efficiencies Focus on high availability, performance, and reliability Second-level support of the applicationWhat we re looking for: Fully Hands on multi-tasker with top-notch programming skills Strong Experience in core Java based applications and design patterns 12+ years proven experience with Java, with a focus on low latency programming, threading, collections, concurrency & optimization Strong experience with Linux / Unix and Distributed file system Keen eye for troubleshooting and problem solving Proficient in Agile DevelopmentSkills that will help you in the role : Experience in Derivatives and Risk domain Experience C# , Scala or Python would be a big plus Ability to produce well-tested, documented, high-performance code to tight schedules Strong communication skills with experience in business facing front office applications,
