And because our solutions are highly scalable, you can meet business growth objectives, enhance the end customer experience, and improve control and resilience under any market condition.What you will be doingAs the VP of Product Engineering you will have overall responsibility to run and manage application development, top programs, technology transformation and client delivery activities for SDT portfolio that includes NextGen platform FIS CD, legacy products GMI, CV, RIMS, Phase3, Loanet, Apex Sec Fin and Full Service Offering (Utility) facing technologies serving Tier1 customers.

• Have overall responsibility to manage full software development lifecycle including testing, implementation and delivery of software in production environments
• Develop and drive strategy of SDT Product suites and play key role in technology transformation not restricted to modernization and process improvements
• Work closely with CTO and other development stakeholders to improve end to end ownership of Global Delivery and bring a shift from execution to value creation
• Ensures base applications meet appropriate quality standards, adheres to the functional application development and client delivery process standards.
• Adhere and improve operating model with interfacing CIO and CX teams to ensure excellent client experience, frictionless delivery and speed to market
• Active participation and contribution in GDO sponsored transformation and strategic initiatives
• Build and evolve Org design to meet business priorities and drive efficiencies.

What you bring:

• 20+ years of industry experience with 10+ years of experience in a product-based company on technical track
• Knowledge of current technology landscape in Capital Markets and Banking & Payments
• Knowledge of open source platforms and associated risks
• Executed modernization projects and managed large technology platforms in Capital Markets domain
• Experience of delivery in Software as a Service model
• Responsibilities around audit conformances
• Led large product engineering teams.
• Core Backend or Frontend development involving a multi-layer distributed architecture
• Agile Projects involving real-time systems and centered on improving time to market
• Emerging technology and Cloud Migration
• Building and promoting secure application development
• Delivery ownership of mission critical projects from Design and development to deployment and support in production
• At least 2 Technology upgrades such as (and not limited to) Database migration, ASP.Net to HTML5 Angular, Unix to Linux etc.
• Framework design and development for consumption across a technology stack
• Performance measurement and tuning
• R&D for evaluating a technology and incorporating the same.
• Excellent communication and articulation skills
• Strength in addressing difference of opinion in technology or solution adoption
• Creative project execution using technology to solve problems rather than more resources
