Job Description

    Job descriptionThe ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations for an electrical compliance company. These operations include inward, outward, Return and inventory management. Your goal will be to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe environmentResponsibilities
    • Track and manage inventory
    • Maintain TAT of Inbound and Outbound functions (throughput and performance)
    • Create a roster for staff as this is a 24-hour operation, hence, manpower needs to be planned in multiple shifts according to order flow.
    • Inspect the warehouse and keep the warehouse clean and safe
    • Manage warehouse staff of approximately 60 staff
    • Evaluate performance metrics to ensure quality delivery and cost-efficient work-flow processes
    • Prepare weekly presentation showcasing various KPIs achieved during the previous week
    JOB ROLE
    • Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
    • Responsible for driving and achieving targets for key distribution KPIs such as breaches, cost reduction, inventory and dispatch accuracy, and productivity.
    • Safety Management, Developing Standards, Maintaining Processes, Inventory Control, Equipment Management, and Judgement.
    • Prepare and implement the necessary SOP for warehouse operations from time to time.
    • Resource Plan - Prepares the resource requirement plan in terms of manpower, MHE requirements, and other resource requirements.
    • Unloading Efficiency - Ensure the unloading operations are carried out in an efficient manner in order and as per the process to ensure operational efficiencies.
    • Maintaining stock correctly, ensuring dispatches on time, and handling a team of workers in the warehouse will all be part of the KRA.
