Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities We are hiring an Warehouse Operations Analyst to work with our US based client. A manufacturer and distributor of health care supplies and services, over 800 associates across USA, Europe & other International regions. Its Indian branch provides support services in the area of Information Services, Finance & Business processes Management.The Warehouse Operations Analyst would be responsible of Operational Excellence, Warehouse Engineering, Data analytics and Reporting. In this position, Analyst will also be performing data analysis and reporting for Engineering with the goal of driving labor savings and improving efficiencies. Based in India, this position is responsible to support European operations & will be part of the Operations Engineering Team Europe.Some of the responsibilities are:Operational Excellence:
    • Identify opportunities for productivity and quality improvements in European Operations (Warehousing, Transportation, Supply Chain & Value Added Services)
    • Effectively manage improvement of services to customers and/or reduction of cost through data and process analysis and redesign
    • Lead multiple projects from concept to realization involving colleagues from multiple departments and disciplines
    • Apply Lean Six Sigma methods and provide consulting support to current projects and business operations.
    Warehouse Engineering:
    • Optimize the layout design and construction of company facilities
    • Implement improvements to facilities and equipment to guarantee efficient handling
    • Support new WMS implementations & enhancements
    • Continuously improve the warehouse processes to increase inventory accuracy and operator efficiency
    • Support on developing warehousing technology landscape in Europe.
    Data analysis and Reporting:
    • Understand data architecture, support information flows and improve data quality in Operations
    • Data collection and analysis to support process improvements
    • Develop and maintain fact-based Management reporting (KPI s, trend-analysis)
    • Gather data for end-to-end supply chain analyses
    Desired Candidate ProfileSkills / Experience:
    • 4-7 years of Operations or Analyst work consulting experience from IT/Consulting/manufacturing firm preferably in SCM, Logistics or Warehousing domains
    • Strong in Statistical Data Analysis, Data visualization techniques and problem solving skills
    • Experience in providing Advance Analytics support from offsite/ offshore location
    • Proven data analysis skills in a relational DBMS (e.g. SQL Skills are must) and exposure to BI tools (preferably MicroStrategy i.e. MSTR), ETL is a plus
    • Good organization, analysis, and planning skills
    • Excellent communication skills & prior experience of using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is must
    • Knowledge of Advanced Excel, VBA, R, Data Science, Python, Machine learning is must
    • Good Automation Skills using Python, R, VBA etc.
    • Work experience with Global teams in an Onsite: Off shore model would be a plus
    • Person should be flexible to travel to Europe warehouses on quarterly basis and/or as and when required basis
    Educational qualifications: Bachelors in Mechanical/Production Engineering and Post graduate in Statistics or Business/ Operations Management.,
