Job Description

  • We are looking for an experienced production exepert for managing the manpower and end to end WCM activities.
  • In this role you will be Supporting WCM implementation, concept and development within Factory /Competence area.
  • Manages indirectly teams or network. Accountable for the WCM execution within Factory. Provides input for the Capital Equipment production strategy.
  • Support decisions on WCM planning and execution based on capital equipment production strategy.
What you will do

As WCM Coordinator you will:

  • Development of WCM execution Plan and ensure its implementation
  • Key role in developing plant strategy linking with corporate policy and cascade it into pillar activity plan
  • Control and coach of WCM activities on shop floor
  • Support the Pillars in the application of WCM methods and tools (coordination and coaching members)
  • Lead at least one pillar in factory for WCM.
  • Ensure the regular support to the WCM team leaders in team activities
  • Ensure the development of WCM skills at all levels carrying out internal trainings using global std material.
  • Coordination in JIPM assessment work (if going for award)
  • Conducting audits of WCM teams / pillars
  • Contribute to motivate and empower people through positive attitude and stimulate mindset changes
  • Follow up WCM costs and achievements
  • Promote and support cross fertilization of ideas, knowledge, improvements and Best practices and provide methodological support
  • Motivate and empower people through positive attitude and stimulate change in traditional mind set
  • Establish and execute plans for benchmarking in similar process and product areas
  • Link in between Pillar leaders / site and global office
Who you are

We belive you have

  • BE/Diploma Production Engineering / Mech Engineer @ 4-8 years of working experience in WCM in manufacturing industry.
  • Successfully completed education or work experience in diploma/ Engineering
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of TPM methodologies and Lean principles
  • Experience in the facilitation of employee training and workshops
  • Independent, very communicative and problem-solving-oriented work style
  • Strong team player attitude with the ability to inspire others
  • Fluent English, Hindi / Marathi spoken and written, extra language knowledge is added advantage
  • Good command on computer mainly on MS office
