Job Description

    • Build & maintain industry leading high performance, scalable, dynamic, cross browser compliant & responsive web and mobile applications which are modular, maintainable and memory efficient - Gather requirements around functionality. Translate those requirements into functional solutions. - Contribute to planning, design, implementation, testing, operations, and process improvement. - Consume core e-business platform APIs to develop, maintain & enhance amazing use-cases for our e-commerce, engagement & analytics offerings. - Constantly and consistently implement new features and optimize existing ones by aggregating API calls, building appropriate data models and using them to create a comprehensive view. - Work with Product Manager, User Experience Designer & Platform engineers to implement versatile solutions while embracing emerging standards and pushing the limits of what a browser can do to ensure a seamless product experience. - Build and automate updates to the product catalogs metadata displayed on our e-commerce site & enhance our in-house Content Management System - Keep abreast of the latest web technologies and suggest improvements in the existing front-end stack. - Understand the existing core architecture, interactions and dependencies between its main components. - Participate in design and code review What skills do you need to possess : - Deep expertise in writing object-oriented, modular and reusable Java with an understanding on microservices. - In-depth understanding of web stack and tools - HTTPHTTPS, Sessions, Web Sockets, HTML5, JavaScriptJSON, AJAX, CSS3, UI Debugging. - Experience in jQuery is mandatory. - Experience in other JavaScript frameworks like backbone.js, underscore.js require.js, angular.js, ember.js, knockout.js etc. is good to have. In particular, knowledge of at least one MVC framework is desired. - Experience working with CSS3 pre-processors and scaffolding frameworks (Foundation, Bootstrap, etc.) is mandatory. - Must be a fast, efficient coder and make coding and design decisions with multiple simultaneous dimensions in mind - Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and experience in building pixel-perfect responsive web pages with an eye for detail. - Results-orientated with an attitude to challenge oneself - Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities - Comfort & ability to work in a fast-paced, data driven analytics-minded environment What is the prior experience needed : - Freshers or maximum up to 2 years of experience What qualification you should have : - Masters Bachelors in Engineering or Equivalent Required Skills : Frameworks : CSS3 Java Microservices JQuery Bootstrap Cross-Browser Compatibility UI Mobile Applications API Role: Full Stack Developer Industry Type: IT Services & Consulting Department: Engineering - Software & QA Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Software Development Education UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization PG: M.Tech in Any Specialization Doctorate: Doctorate Not Required
