Job Description

    Location: Raipur Experience: 2-10 Years Industry: Automotive Light Commercial Vehicles Education: Bachelors DegreeRole OverviewThe Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving retail sales performance, managing dealer operations, and improving customer engagement through enquiry generation, test drives, and bookings. The role requires strong execution, team motivation, and effective use of digital tools to enhance sales efficiency.Key Responsibilities
    • Achieve monthly retail sales targets and improve enquiry-to-booking conversion.
    • Manage retail sales activities, including enquiry generation, test drive management, and customer follow-ups.
    • Ensure accurate data management across all sales touchpoints.
    • Identify training needs and motivate dealership manpower for better performance.
    • Ensure adherence to sales processes, customer handling guidelines, and retail standards.
    • Utilize digital sales tools to enhance customer engagement and productivity.
    • Plan and execute local marketing activities/activations to generate enquiries.
    • Monitor dealer working capital, stock aging, and support inventory management.
    Skills & Requirements
    • Experience in automotive sales (preferably LCV or passenger vehicles).
    • Strong understanding of retail sales operations, dealer management, and customer handling.
    • Good communication, team management, and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work with digital tools and CRM systems.
