Your responsibilities would include:1. *Leadership and Team Management*:- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the service department team, including service advisors, technicians, and administrative staff.- Set clear expectations, goals, and performance standards for team members.- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment focused on teamwork and continuous improvement.2. *Customer Service Excellence*:- Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service throughout their interactions with the service department.- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and. professionally.- Implement processes to measure and improve customer satisfaction levels.3. *Operations Management*:- Oversee all aspects of service operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation.- Ensure that service appointments are scheduled efficiently and that work is completed within the promised timeframe.- Monitor service productivity, efficiency, and quality to optimize departmental performance.4. *Technical Expertise and Training*:- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive technology, diagnostic procedures, and repair techniques.- Provide training and support to service technicians to enhance their skills and certifications.- Ensure compliance with manufacturer-specific service requirements and updates.5. *Financial Management*:- Develop and manage the service department budget, including revenue forecasts, expense tracking, and cost control measures.- Analyze financial performance metrics and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.- Implement strategies to improve departmental profitability while maintaining service quality.6. *Regulatory Compliance*:- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to automotive service and repair.- Maintain accurate records of service transactions, warranties, and repairs.- Implement policies and procedures to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.7. *Facility Maintenance and Safety*:- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the service facility, equipment, and work areas.- Implement safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.8. *Vendor and Supplier Management*:- Develop and maintain relationships with service equipment suppliers, maintenance contractors, and other vendors.- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to ensure favorable terms.- Monitor vendor performance and address issues or concerns as needed,
