Job Description

    As a Switchgear Systems Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of switchgear system installations and upgrades. You will lead a team of technicians and engineers, providing guidance in switchgear assembly, testing, and commissioning. Your role will involve developing and reviewing electrical schematics, layouts, and technical documentation while ensuring compliance with industry standards such as IEC, IEEE, and other relevant regulations.Collaboration will be a key aspect of your job as you coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure timely delivery and execution of projects. You will also be tasked with conducting fault analysis and troubleshooting of switchgear systems, implementing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and upholding safety protocols and electrical codes.Additionally, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support during audits, inspections, and client interactions. Your experience and expertise will be vital in training and mentoring junior staff on switchgear technologies and safety practices.To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelors/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field and possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in switchgear systems, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
