Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Machine/Tool Availability: Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure machines and tools are operational, aligning with production goals.
    2. Routine Maintenance: Oversee welding, fitting, and mechanical processes, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Inspect equipment like conveyor belts and plumbing.
    3. Breakdown Maintenance: Plan and coordinate breakdowns and shutdowns to minimize production disruptions.
    4. Preventive Maintenance: Work with team leaders to implement and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules. Review logs for irregularities and take corrective actions.
    5. Budget Management: Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, control costs, and implement cost-saving measures through new technologies and better inventory control.
    6. Spare Parts & Consumables: Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables, and evaluate vendor bids for procurement.
    7. Building Safety: Ensure buildings and facilities are maintained and meet operational requirements.
    8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, FSSC, etc.) and manage audits.
    9. HSSE: Lead safety initiatives for safe machine operation, employee safety, and a safe working environment.
    10. MIS & Reporting: Analyze maintenance logs, track performance, and report to senior management for decision-making.
    11. HR Management & Improvement: Manage manpower planning and employee development, and lead continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizen and 5S.
