Job Description

    As a Microbiologist at our facility in Raipur, you will be responsible for various tasks within the Quality Control and Research & Development departments. With a minimum of 2 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products through microbiological testing and analysis.Your key responsibilities will include the preparation and sterilization of microbiological media, reagents, and buffers following standard protocols. You will conduct microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental samples. Additionally, you will perform microbial limit tests, pathogen detection, and preservative efficacy tests to maintain compliance with relevant standards such as BIS, ISO, IS, USP, and IP.In this role, you will be expected to maintain accurate records of experiments, observations, and results in lab documentation. Operating and maintaining lab instruments such as autoclaves, incubators, laminar airflow cabinets, and microscopes will also be part of your daily tasks. You will support method development and validation for new products or formulations while ensuring adherence to good laboratory practices, hygiene, and biosafety procedures.To qualify for this position, you should hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Microbiology or a related field and possess a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in microbiological testing and media preparation. Practical knowledge of microbial culture techniques, aseptic handling, regulatory requirements, and quality standards are essential. Strong observation, documentation, and reporting skills are required, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.While experience in industries such as Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverages, or Biotechnology is preferred, candidates from other backgrounds with the necessary skills are also encouraged to apply.
