Job Description

    Role Overview:As a mutual fund manager, your primary responsibility will be to conduct extensive research and analysis of various investment options. You will carefully assess market trends, economic indicators, and company financials to identify potential investment opportunities. By staying updated on market conditions, you will ensure that the fund performs as per its objectives and delivers the desired outcomes. Additionally, you will be responsible for portfolio management by building and managing a well-diversified portfolio on behalf of investors. This will involve selecting a mix of stocks, bonds, and other securities aligned with the funds investment objectives to reduce risk and increase potential returns. Managing risk will also be a critical aspect of your role, where you will assess risks associated with each investment and employ risk management strategies to protect the funds value during challenging market conditions. Moreover, you will monitor the portfolios performance continuously, track market movements, and adjust the portfolio by buying or selling securities to optimize returns or minimize risk. Lastly, you will play a crucial role in educating and communicating with investors, providing regular updates on the funds performance, explaining portfolio changes, and addressing investor concerns to build trust and confidence in their investment decisions.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct mutual fund research and analysis to identify investment opportunities- Build and manage a diversified portfolio aligned with investment objectives- Manage risk by assessing risks associated with investments and employing risk management strategies- Monitor portfolio performance, track market movements, and adjust the portfolio to optimize returns- Educate and communicate with investors by providing updates on fund performance and addressing concernsQualifications Required:- Graduation in any discipline or commerce background- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience- Mandatory certification: NISM-Series-V-APlease note that the job type is full-time and permanent.
