Job Description

    You are an experienced and proactive Procurement / Purchase Manager responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end procurement and purchase functions for a tile adhesives manufacturing operations. Your role will involve tasks such as sourcing raw materials, managing procurement and dispatch of secondary products, supplier management, negotiations, order processing, inventory coordination, logistics, and cost control to ensure smooth and efficient operations.You will be tasked with responsibilities such as sourcing, evaluating, and shortlisting reliable suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and secondary products. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers, monitoring supplier performance, preparing and issuing accurate Purchase Orders (POs), coordinating with production and warehouse teams for maintaining optimum stock levels, overseeing dispatch of finished products and secondary products, liaising with transporters for smooth deliveries, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve procurement-related issues, maintaining accurate records of purchases, contracts, and dispatches, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in procurement/purchase, preferably in construction chemicals or building materials industry. Key skills required include good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills, knowledge of sourcing raw materials for construction chemicals or tile adhesives, proficiency in MS Office, data analytics, ERP/procurement software, ability to handle dispatch logistics, attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to work independently, handle pressure, meet tight deadlines, problem-solving mindset, and proactive approach.This role offers performance-based incentives, the opportunity to double salary in 6 months based on performance, and skill development stipend covering workshops, trainings, seminars, courses, and books.
