Job Description

    Role Overview:You will be a Junior Service Engineer specializing in Genset Electrical at Goel Power Engineers LLP. The role requires 1 to 3 years of work experience and will involve maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal performance of diesel generators at various locations including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Surat, Vashi, and Raipur. Your responsibilities will include handling installation, commissioning, and diagnosing issues in alternators, control panels, and wiring systems. You will also be involved in load sharing, AMF, and ATS panel integration.Key Responsibilities:- Perform electrical servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of gensets.- Handle installation and commissioning of DG sets, including synchronization with multiple units.- Diagnose and repair issues in alternators, control panels, and wiring systems.- Interpret and implement synchronization panel diagrams for multi-gen set operations.- Assist in load sharing, AMF, and ATS panel integration.- Conduct testing, protection relay settings, and system calibration.- Support AMC contracts, warranty claims, and field service operations.- Ensure compliance with CEIG, EB approvals, and electrical safety regulations.- Maintain proper service records, technical documentation, and reports.Qualification Required:- Educational Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering.- Experience: Minimum 3-7 years in genset electrical servicing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of synchronization panels, load sharing, control systems, AMF panels, ATS, generator paralleling systems, reading and interpreting electrical schematics & synchronization diagrams, familiarity with PLC-based control systems, and DG set automation.- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.Additional Details:Goel Power Engineers LLP, founded in 1965, is a prominent manufacturer of gensets headquartered in Mumbai, India.
