Job Description

Assisting your supervisor with the companys treasury activities.
Preparing and communicating daily banking activity reports.
Assisting with the physical counting of cash.
Investigating and resolving discrepancies with cash transactions.
Documenting all cash transactions for each day.
Reconciling bank deposits and payments.
Responding to customer complaints and addressing transaction-related issues.
Maintaining financial records, cash logs, and spreadsheets.
Processing treasury payments.
An assistant treasurer supervises other personnel in his department on efficient finance management policies and procedures. She reports any difficulties to the CFO for redress.An assistant treasurer directs the risk management program of a business and facilitates acquisition of effective insurance policies and strategies. He is also in charge of building positive financial relationships with investors, banks and other credit providers for a business.
