Job Description

    As a Senior Analyst-Currency Management, your role will involve ensuring efficient currency operations at Cash Processing Centers, maintaining adequate cash stock at all branches and ATMs, and preventing instances of cash outs. Your key responsibilities will include:- Ensuring daily cash sorting with zero pendency as per Turnaround Time (TAT), optimizing the utilization of NSM & resources.- Maintaining vault under dual custody and ensuring proper updating of all registers with dual authentication.- Conducting training sessions for branches on the security features of Indian Banknotes regularly.- Ensuring timely vault opening and availability of cash to CIT custodian.- Monitoring cash dispensing branch-wise to prevent errors.- Supervising cash sorting in the processing room and ensuring compliance with internal guidelines.- Adjudicating mutilated notes as per RBI norms and NRR.- Managing cash inflows and outflows from chest vault, performing periodic balancing during the day.- Having knowledge of NRR for adjudicated notes and ensuring full value during RBI remittances.- Scrutinizing and maintaining key registers and keys properly.- Accounting for discrepancies and informing branches/vendors accordingly.- Manually screening suspect notes for missing security features and impounding them with a forged note stamp.- Collaborating with the Currency Control Unit for process improvements in vault operations and sorting activities.- Maintaining a duplicate set of Vault keys at an offsite location, exchanged at half-yearly intervals.Your educational qualifications should include a Graduation in Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Business & Insurance (BBI), or Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS). Additionally, a Post-Graduation in Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Commerce (M.Com), or Master of Arts (MA) would be preferred.With 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Currency Management, you are well-equipped to excel in this role.,
