DescriptionGroup Phenome Implementation Support Specialist will be responsible for Phenome implementation process in EWS Breeding , Pathology , Testing Biotechnology programs , and integration of all workflows in Phenome Database is going to be the key driver.He/ she will be the key resource person in EWS for phenome implementation and train users in consultation with Phenome Support Team to ensure successful utilization of all Phenome modules and functionalities. This position is expected to work closely with EWS breeding team(CBMs , breeders , pre- breeders , trait introgression breeders) , Biotechnology team , Pathology team and Testing team in countries where EWS has operations.He/ She will also be key contact with Phenome Support Team representing EWS for troubleshooting users issues while using Phenome modules and also coordinate with Phenome Support Team for adding new functionalities related to EWS workflows.Tasks and responsibilities include :Work closely with the Phenome Support Team to understand the features and functionalities of all modulesQuick learning of Phenome modules features and functionalities from the perspective of EWS requirementSupport Phenome Implementation strategy for effective adoption of Phenome modules in all EWS functionsInitiate Lead smooth implementation of Phenome as standard database management solution in EWSSupport integration of PAAS workflow using Phenome functionalities or modules.Schedule on- site training for users in countries where EWS has operations.Key resource/ contact between EWS users and Phenome Support Team for implementation processWork closely with EWS ICT team to understand support hardware , internet needsProvide monthly Phenome Usage Dashboard representing Phenome usage metricsIdentify address challenges experienced by users in consultation with Phenome Support TeamAre we looking for youWORKING RELATIONSHIPS:Internal:Phenome Implementation Team (POIC) - an ad hoc team formed to help plan the successful implementation of PN as the new crop breeding database of EWSBreeding team composed of the Group Breeding Manager , Crop Breeding Manager , and breeders - as end- usersICT team - to ensure smooth implementation of PN and to ensure ICT infrastructure (e.g. internet connectivity) are in place to ensure smooth implementation of PNBiotech Department - for genotyping data and other genomics analysis software as part of Module 4 (Genomics)Plant pathology - for integration of phenotyping data , disease resistance claims and other routine disease screening assaysExternal:Phenome Networks - an Israeli- based company who owns Phenome NetworksOther vendors - who will integrate later with PNQUALIFICATIONS:Post Graduate in Plant Breeding , Genetics , or equivalent field.Domain knowledge on breeding , genetics , statistics and data analysisVery keen in working with computers and computer software.Good team playerGood communication skills; fluent in written and oral English communicationDedicated and passionate about his/ her assigned work or responsibilitiesWilling to travel frequently.,
