Job Description

    The Area Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth, maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers, and acquiring new clients within a designated geographical area. The role involves implementing sales strategies, meeting sales targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and promoting the companys products or services.
    • Sales & Target Achievement:
      • Meet and exceed sales targets by actively prospecting and acquiring new business in the assigned area.
      • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue goals and market penetration objectives.
      • Ensure a consistent and high level of sales activity (e.g., cold calls, sales presentations, meetings).
    • Customer Relationship Management:
      • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by providing excellent customer service.
      • Act as the main point of contact for all sales inquiries in the assigned territory.
      • Resolve customer issues, complaints, and queries in a timely and professional manner.
    • Market Research & Analysis:
      • Monitor competitors activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
      • Gather and analyze market intelligence to adjust sales strategies and stay ahead of market demands.
      • Identify potential customers and understand their needs to offer tailored solutions.
    • Sales Reporting & Documentation:
      • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using the CRM system.
      • Submit regular sales reports detailing achievements, activities, and forecasts.
    • Product Knowledge & Promotion:
      • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the companys products or services.
      • Present, promote, and sell the companys products to potential and existing customers.
      • Participate in product launches, promotions, and trade events to increase brand visibility.
    • Collaboration with Team:
      • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to ensure the alignment of strategies and objectives.
      • Provide feedback on customer preferences, competitor activity, and market demand to improve product offerings and sales approaches.
    • Territory Management:
      • Manage sales efforts within the defined geographical territory, ensuring efficient coverage of all areas.
      • Prioritize and allocate time effectively to maximize sales opportunities and optimize customer coverage.
