Job Description

3D Modeling: Create detailed and accurate 3D models of parts and assemblies using CREO software. Technical Drawings: Develop 2D technical drawings (including dimensions, tolerances, and annotations) from 3D models to communicate design intent for manufacturing. Design Optimization: Apply engineering principles to refine and optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and functionality. Collaborative Work: Work closely with engineering teams, including mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure designs meet product requirements and standards. Design Validation: Assist in validating designs through simulation tools within CREO (e.g., stress analysis, motion analysis) and perform iterative improvements based on results. Data Management: Maintain accurate records of design revisions, models, and documentation in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems. Prototype Support: Assist with prototyping and testing, providing design feedback and revisions as necessary based on test results. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in 3D CAD design and apply improvements to existing design processes.
